The Akuapim South Municipal Assembly held its second staff durbar of 2025 at the Municipal Assembly Hall on Friday, 28th November 2025. The event aimed to formally introduce the newly appointed Municipal Coordinating Director (MCD), Ing. Stephen Attippoe, to the staff and to reinforce their core responsibilities as civil servants.
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Paul Osae Offei, officially introduced Ing. Stephen Attipoe to the gathering.
In his address, the Municipal Coordinating Director highlighted some unacceptable staff behaviours, including lateness, absenteeism, and a lack of teamwork. He reminded everyone that their primary mandate is to support the Municipal Chief Executive in delivering quality services and driving development for the people of Akuapim South Municipality. Ing. Attippoe stressed that his door is always open and urged staff to remain focused, dedicated, and punctual in order to build a stronger and more effective municipality.
Hon. Paul Osae Offei also spoke, reiterating that the downfall of any organisation is often caused by poor staff attitudes towards work. He called on all members to play their part in the development of the Akuapim South Municipal Assembly and assured them that a positive change in attitude and mindset would lead to significant improvements in both performance and outcomes.
